Are you visually impaired and would love to explore the beauty of the Malvern Hills? Would you like to spend a day in the fresh air walking with a new group of friends?  Sense Adventures brings blind and sighted walkers together to share the varied landscape of the Malvern Hills from woods and streams in the South to rolling countryside above Herefordshire and The Cotswolds.

Join us for another Autumn weekend staying at the historic Dell House bed and breakfast in Malvern Wells situated at the foot of the Malvern Hills.  The Dell House dates from the 19th century.  The current owners have lovingly restored the 2 acres of garden featuring specimen trees and interesting tactile wooden sculptures.  Throughout your stay you will have the opportunity to explore this beautiful garden.

The experience  includes:

  • 3 nights bed and breakfast en suite accommodation in the Victorian Dell House at the foot of the Malvern Hills with stunning views across to the Cotswolds and 2 acres of restored garden.
  • All lunches and 2 evening meals (plus 3rd evening meal at local pub not included in the price).
  • Accommodation on a twin sharing basis. All rooms have ensuite facilities.
  • The provision of one-to-one guides throughout the weekend.
  • Transport from local railway station Great Malvern. You will be met off your train and driven the short distance to the hotel.
  • Guided walks on the Malvern Hills on Saturday and optional Sunday walk. The Saturday walk will be around 7 miles and the optional Sunday walk will be shorter.
  • Visit to Croome Park National Trust house and parkland on Sunday afternoon.

Some testimonials from previous breaks

"I enjoyed great company as we walked and realising that I'm capable of more than I know. I enjoyed the feeling of accomplishment when I realised I'd walked at least 8 miles by the end of the first day.

The guides were wonderful company and I was able to talk to them about anything. They were very supportive and descriptive and very helpful in general. I learned a lot from them, ranging from History to food, and they helped challenge me and relax when needed."
Brandon Hulcoop (Spring Walking Weekend at the Dell House, 2022)
"I haven’t had such fun in ages.  It was so good to go on holiday oneself.  It really boosted my confidence."
Deb (Spring Walking Weekend at the Dell House, 2022)
"The best thing for me, apart from the walks of course, was the food , the camaraderie and the beautiful surroundings."
Debbie Paine
"I thought the volunteer guides were all really friendly and enthusiastic. It was great fun being guided by them and I think it was a great idea to swap us around."
Paul Sullivan
"The best part of the holiday was being out in the countryside with other people who were there to enjoy walking in good company. I liked the company and the relaxed atmosphere and I thought the guides were amazing and very friendly. "
